Verus service and calibrate Protimeter wood moisture meters new and old. We carry some parts for old Protimeter models.

A moisture meter service on any type of Protimeter includes new pins, alkaline battery, replacing missing or broken battery cover or end cap and a check for accuracy across the range 10% to 27% moisture content, this costs £60 carriage free plus vat (no calibration certificate is supplied). We only charge for return packing and carriage in the event an enquirer does not accept a quotation and requires return, we charge £18 plus vat (or we will scrap at no charge).

Please see our page on returns policy for shortages, damage or discrepancies. Items sent to us for repair or calibration where no response is forthcoming as to return or payment of return carriage will be disposed of after 8 weeks. We advise using the Royal Mail to send items to Verus.

Please note that ISO 9000 registered firms are obliged to maintain measuring equipment in a calibrated state, always with a calibration cetificate and usually on an annual basis.
